Actually, I've stopped worrying about the river boats going under the millenium bridge. I've now started worrying about the fact that the DFDS ocean-going 'kings of scandinavia' ferries sail one whole mile inland up the tyne to dock.
For those unfamiliar with the geography of Tyneside, clicky linky to see the (road) route from Newburn to Tynemouth which will also give you an idea of the river's path.
It's not quite the full length of the Tyne, but it is the bit through Newcastle to the coast and that's gonna be good going anyway!

3. Falling out (with Neill) While I'm sure nothing can come between us, if we ever did fall out, this would probably be the worst day it could happen.
4. Bigger boats. As you can see from the picture above that Bish posted, they Millenium bridge has a fairly narrow channel running through it, and there is often quite a bit of traffic going under that bridge. We dont know anything about sailing etiquette or rules, and we cant stop our dinghy.
5. The Po-leece. I dont think we're doing anything wrong here, but if the police ask us to stop, I'm not stopping. I'll sail all the way to Mexico to avoid arrest if I have to.

My top 5 Fears at this time.....
