What is Aqua Sphere?

a sphere is a giant bubble that usually your harnessed into but in this case instead of a harness they add 30litres of water, it's kinda like being in a giant washing machine :)

lol, nah it's ok, basically i'm just gonna be taken to the top of a large hill and hurled down it in the sphere, whilst recording it on my headcam

I know what your thinkin' hold up no head cam footage inside the sphere, please direct your complaints to "Sphere Mania" In Stevenage who on the phone said it would be ok but on the day said . . .
"no we can't let you do that you might damage the sphere"

hey guys, i work for chepstow outdoor activity centre in chepstow, we offer harness sphereing at the centre which is slightly more extreme as you are in motion with the ball, in reply to crankjuices last comment, u were goin faster than it looks! basic physics big ball small ball, for every "big" complete revolution is several smaller revolutions .... i think our ball travels at about 23 mph so the inside ball is travelling at least double/triple that speed!

ooo nd reply to a previous comment, shperemania, does not operate an active site for sphereing it is purely a franchise company, who "umbrella" operate several sites in the uk, they set rules which as centres we obide to, however certain rules such as the use of recording equipment etc, is left to the discretion of the site, it could be anything from, insurance, health and safety to damaging the ball and yes the average price for a franchise is 7000 squid ours came in at just over 8 thousand!
