So, I am really bored and have just been challenged to something ridiculous....basically a friend just said that I could not drink 3 shots of tabasco.

Now Chief Chimpanzee loves challenges and loves going above and beyond the call of duty. So that challenge seems rather boring...let's up it a bit:

I bet that I can drink ten shots (25ml each) of tabasco in ten minutes. Yes boys and girls, that's ten shots in ten minutes! That's one shot a minute. To translate...that's basically either death or victory in ten minutes.

Who knows why I do these things!

PFD,

That's a very good point. A couple of friends have highlighted a few things to me actually:

1) That's the equivalent of about 5 of the bottles in the picture above!

2) Interestingly, I just got a message from someone at Gottabet (At least means I have their attention! whoop whoop) and he sent me this:

'I tried that one night - drank about 6 oz of the stuff. (well short
of half a gallon) All I did was hiccup at the time. The next day I
used the hand rails in the handicap stall like an Olympic gymnast
hitting the parallel bars giddyup.'

3) Apparently, as long as I do not get it into my blood stream, I should be okay. I might however, suffer vast amounts of discomfort for the next few days.

4) A friend also pointed out that I did not stake enough peanuts for this. I replied "I do this for glory, not for peanuts!". This statement was greeted with much laughter and then I was promptly emailed the number for a good hospital.

5) After putting all this together, I can only assume that I have not thought this bet through. But hey...sometimes the best things in life are hot!

So game on! I shall begin my training tonight.

I practised last night with a shot of tabasco and it wasn't too bad. Tonight I'll try it with two. I want to gain some sort of super duper immunity to Tabasco sauce. That's what will get me through this bet.

Hi everyone! Sorry just managed to get the video together and can now settle the bet. Enjoy watching the vid! All I can say is that I am gutted that I did not win :-(. On the plus side, it was a real great day! Phil from Gottabet, invited me to come round to the Gottabet Garage because they wanted to see if I was for real. So I went...and I got a nice hat from them too. Was pretty cool, except for the Tabasco of course! (They bought the Tabasco and milk for me too...which was nice; I have a feeling I would look pretty stupid asking for all that Tabasco in the supermarket.)

Anyway, enough of me yapping...watch me in action...D
